Dress Up The Dinning Table With New Accessories
Changing of the seasons is the perfect opportunity to change Home Decor. Why not give your dinning table a face lift to welcome the warmer weather.
The table setting pictured here from Williams-Sonoma is a beautiful example.
Using a table runner and placemats in a soft yellow & blue accented with simple but elegant looking white dinnerware, then adding that gorgeous bouquet of tulips give the table a fresh feel.
The setting has a French county style, however it would certainly work in any decor setting.
A Personal Host Or Hostess Gift
Here’s a really cute idea from Country Living Magazine. A personalized gift for the friend who loves to cook.
- Apron - Choose your friends favorite color. Monogram their initials with iron-on-transfer letters.
- Wooden Kitchen Utensils - Spoons, Forks maybe a Rolling Pin, what ever you like. Tie together with ribbon that coordinates with the apron.
- Blank Recipe Book - Any size, shape and color. A small photo book with blank index cards could also be used.
- Personalize the cards by stamping the initials of your host or hostess in one of the top corners.
Place in a decorative box or a wooden basket that can then be used in the kitchen
