They have long hair, short hair many have four legs some have fins. They come in many colors and sizes. Pets, they are a large important part of many families. It’s unconditional love in the purest form, so love and spoil them in large amounts.

Sad News: On March 26th 2008 we lost our beloved Toby to Cancer. It was very sudden and heart breaking. For Mothers Day my wonderful family gave me a new Sheltie puppy. He is Sable & White, we named him Sebastian, he is now 6 months old. I didn’t think I could possibly love another Sheltie as much as Toby, but Sebastian has taught me it’s more than possible.

  • “Toby” - My Whirling Twirling Sheltie                                                                       Six years ago this August a funny little puppy came to live in our home.He was tiny, blue-gray and white colored coat, skinny tail that hurt when it hit you and the biggest bat ears I’d ever seen on a puppy.
  • Boone - Tails Of A Kitten                                                         He runs, jumps, leaps and bounces like there are springs on his paws. This is Boone, the latest addition to our family of four legged fur-babies.
  • Cat Grooming Tips                                                                           Cats clean themselves, why should I groom them? There are various reasons, however, why your cat still needs your grooming assistance to stay healthy and happy.
  • There’s Nothing Like a Cozy Bed                                                         You've had a long day. You're tired and want to rest. Do you head for the nearest open spot on the hard floor, or do you head for that easy chair? Just as you prefer your chair, your dog also prefers the comfort and warmth of his own bed.

FYI:
Socialize Your New Puppy

The single best thing owners can do above anything else is to properly socialize their puppy, it's the best head start for the rest of their lives.

When you bring that cuddly puppy home, start day one in your role as your Pet's teacher. The clock is ticking. Research has shown that between 4 and 14 weeks is prime time for puppies to learn-and retain-invaluable social skills. Their brains act like microprocessors, sucking up every sight, sound, and event in providing a foundation for the rest of their lives.

Use this window of opportunity to expose them to big dogs, little dogs, quiet dogs, aggressive dogs. Family and friends. Strangers. Take them on neighborhood strolls. Shop For New Puppy Accessories At PetSmart
